UNIVERSITIES: Singapore has its 6 Universities offering UG and PG degree programs.

POLYTECHNICS: Singapore has 5 polytechnics which offer broad based training for students inclined towards practice-oriented studies at the diploma level.

PRIVATE EDUCATION ORGANIZATIONS : There are more than 300 private Educational Institutions in Singapore. Most of them have accreditation with renowned international universities from countries such as Australia, UK and USA.

Part Time & Full Time work in Singapore

International students are normally not permitted to work part time during their studies. However, they can apply for a work permit after their studies are completed and if they have found a job. There are a few exceptions to this rule.

In case the students are enrolled in a course that has a built-in internship the students can work during that time. On a case to case basis student can get 1-month extension + 1 additional extension of 15 days is possible.

Full time work after completion of studies:

For a Bachelor Graduate the salary range can vary from S$ 1800 to S$ 2500 per month. For a Masters Graduate the salary range can vary from S$ 2000 to S$ 3000 per month
